Welcome to Kingsport Tomorrow, a non-profit citizens' organization in greater Kingsport, Tennessee, in the Tri-Cities TN / VA region. We invite you to join us as we work to improve our community through citizen participation in determining our future. Help us advance our community's shared goals and vision for the year 2017, when our community will celebrate our 100th birthday.
Your ideas, your talents, your time and resources are welcome--membership is free and open to all, and we seek diverse, broad-based participation in our efforts. Join with others who believe in grassroots democracy, shared decision-making, and quality improvement principles applied to community development.

REACH! Coalition
The Coalition consists of people interested in helping improve community health, specifically obesity, through addressing the leading causes.
Coalition participants include educators, health care organizations, employers, faith-based organizations and government. The primary focus of REACH! is on prevention strategies such as: encouraging healthy lifestyle choices on nutrition, exercise, smoking; and advocating structural changes that encourage and sustain a healthy culture, e.g., design of healthy communities.
Coalition members from Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia focus on health-related issues of the region.

Kingsport Veterans Memorial
The Kingsport Veterans Memorial at J. Fred Johnson Park, located at 1630 Fort Henry Drive near Dobyns-Bennett High School, was dedicated on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2008. Please view details regarding the Memorial by clicking the tab on the left.
A DVD is available which highlights the construction and dedication ceremony of the Memorial. The DVD is $10 or 2 for $15, with shipping and handling of $5. Please contact the Kingsport Tomorrow office to obtain your copy. Phone - 423.246.2017
Attractive commemorative cards (7 1/2"x 7 1/2"), noting the location of each veteran's paver, were distributed at the Memorial's dedication. If you have not gotten your card/s, please pick it/them up at the Kingsport Tomorrow office, 301 Louis Street, Suite 303, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
