Our Mission
We are working to improve the environmental quality, enhance the economic vitality and increase our enjoyment of water resources in the Holston River watershed.
In this way, we are advancing our community's shared Vision 2017 goals for environmental excellence, preservation of natural resources, quality jobs, positive image of our community and high quality of life for all citizens.

Partners

Our partners include TVA, City of Kingsport, County of Sullivan, Eastman Chemical Company, Weyerhauser, Appalachian Resource Conservation and Development Council, Keep Kingsport Beautiful, TN Dept. of Environment and Conservation, First TN Development District, Kingsport Citizens for a Cleaner Environment, and interested citizens.

Current Projects

We have several projects ongoing in streams in the Holston River Watershed, including: Reedy Creek (streambank restoration, interpretive signage, tree planting), Mad Branch (streambank stabilization), Horse Creek (streambank protection and restoration), and Tranbarger Branch (sampling for pollutants, public awareness activities).

We invite any interested individual or organization to join with us in our efforts. Our regular meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. at the Kingsport Tomorrow office (214 Commerce Street, Suite 103 in downtown Kingsport). We appreciate your support in being good stewards of our Holston River Watershed.
